The Campaign for Real Ale say the guide is compiled from information from members who visit every pub, which they say makes it an independent test. Three more Kent breweries have also been include, bring the county's Good Beer Guide breweries total to 46. The annual guide, compiled by The Campaign for Real Ale, is in its 46th year, and claims to be the "beer-lovers' bible".
